Tournament
Summary:
On
the whole Ultimate Bet runs a very wide and
respectable range of tournaments. Their largest
is the Sunday Guaranteed with a prize pool of 200
thousand dollars, and an entry fee of 220$. UB
howeve is a lot stronger in their range of tourneys
than in the biggest prize pool area. They basically
run a ton of lower priced guarantees throughout
the course of each day, with entry fees often as
low as 10$. Their Sit and Go area is also huge,
and very active. It presents a range of buy-in
costs from 11 cents to 5,200$. They have
something to suit everybody.
UB definitely supports WSOP hopefuls with their
ten step the Main Event Sit and Go program. You
can start at any step you want-Step 1 only costs
ten cents to enter, while the higher steps
obviously cost more. Step 10 offers the winner a
chance to win a 12,000$ prize package to the big
show.
Freerolls are also
plentiful at UB. 50$ and 5000
point freerolls run throughout the day. Anybody
who has played a couple of hands at real money
play is qualified to enter. Any top 30 placer in
a 50$ freeroll also gains automatic entry in their
Saturday 1,000$ freeroll, with a first prize of 250$.
UB also offers plenty of
diversity in terms of
shootouts, knockouts, rebuys, six seaters, Razz
events, you name it-they've got it.
