Annette Obrestad is the youngest person to ever win a World Series
of Poker bracelet.  She started playing poker at 15 under the screen
name "Annette_15".  She claims to have never had to make a
deposit to start building her bankroll, as her first few dollars came
from freerolls, from which she amassed nearly a million dollars in
  cash game winnings.

Between September 2006 and February 2007, she won over
500,000$ on Pokerstars, 200,000$ on Ultimate Bet, and 136,000$
on Full Tilt Poker.  As of February 2008 Pocketfives.com ranked her
number 51 of all online competitors, and she has been ranked
  number 1 in the past.

On September 17th, 2007, Obrestad won the first World Series of
Poker Europe Main Event, one day before her 19th birthday.  By
winning the one million pound first prize, (2,010,000$) she edged
out Annie Duke as the female to win the biggest single prize in a
WSOP event.  Obrestad will not be old enough to enter the US
  WSOP until 2010.

Obrestad came close to winning her second major live title at the
Pokerstars.com European Poker Tour Dublin event in November
2007.  She finished second to Reuben Peters and took home a
prize worth 431,000$.  As of 2008 Obrestad's live tournament
winnings exceed 2.4 million dollars.  She currently holds first place
in the Norwegian all time live poker tournament list.
