Software Summary:
Carbon Poker has an excellent application with a
clean aesthetic, fast moving functionality, and plenty
of nifty in room features. There is a rabbit cam for
showing your opponents one or more of your hole
cards, trophies you can display for past victories,
and a wide range of smiley's and importable java
devices for use during in game play.
The stats console is a truly well organized and highly
functional tool, arranged in a layer design, together
with chat, in-game options, hand history, and smiley
and other importable gifs. I really like the in-game
set-up at Carbon a lot. It incorporates a lot of
useful features while still somehow maintaining a
clean and simple style. Together with the fast play,
the overall effect is a winner.
The hand history function at Carbon is really nice.
You click a button and follow a menu tree to see any
the history for any hand you've ever played at the
site, beautifully displayed. The only downside to this
is the lack of an export function.
Carbon supports up to eight tables for Multi-Table
play, which can be minimized, though not quite as
small as some other sites. The graphics though look
as good in small view as they do in their larger view
since they are vector based-they do not distort or
blur when you change their size.
Lobby view of course displays all the critical info, such
as flop%, hands per hour, and average pot size.
