Software Summary:
PCD
offers a beautiful graphical interface. Its
user-friendly appeal and apparent simplicity conceal
a ton of cool features which most players will
appreciate and enjoy. Among them is a rabbit cam
which allows a player to show one or more hole
cards, similar to live tournaments-let the mind
games begin.... Players can also collect trophies
and stars as a reward for victories in tournaments
and cash games, to display by their names if they
so choose. A whole huge list of smiley's can be
flashed above your player position to express
whatever you want during the course of play.
The chat, stats, options, and game info tools are
all layered into one super-functional console which
really ties it all together very well, and sits neatly
in the bottom left hand corner. The in-room
graphics are otherwise very attractive and leaning
towards a minimalist feel which compliments the
sense of fast and easy game-play.
The Lobby
view has all the usual and neccessary
features of
course-hands played per hour, flop%
called, and
average pot, as well as the name and
stack size of
everybody in the room.
Multi-Tabling works
very well at PCD, which allows
you to play up to
10 tables at once. While the
rooms can't be
shrunk quite as small as some other
sites, due to
their being vector graphics, they look
every bit
as good and clear in their shrunken state
as they
do in their expanded view-a nice feature.
