Software Summary:
PlayersOnly is part of the Cake Poker Network, and
so to a large extent the software is very similar
to that of Cake's, with some minor aesthetic changes
such as the extra cleavage on the dealer and
female player avatars....
The in-game
experience is also very similar to Cake
poker although a couple of features such as the
check/fold button seem to be absent. But the
graphics are every bit as nice, and the 3-D modeling
every bit as cool.
Other in-game
features such as stat tools and player
notes
are present in the same layered bar as on
Cake, and they all work just as well. The player
notes setup again is a 50/50 deal, where in one way
its a bit more arduous to use than other sites, but
also offers more functionality such as the rating
system and scrolling box-so once you have the
notes in there its a better tool than most.
The Lobby view is very user friendly and functional,
and displays all the necessary critical information
such as flop% called, hands per hour, and average
pot size.
Multi-Tabling at
PlayersOnly is decent-it allows up to
4
tables to be played at once, and works smoothly.
This isn't quite up to par of most larger sites, but
considering PlayersOnly's newness and some of the
other perks they are offering to compensate, like the
instant deposit bonus, we'll cut them some slack.
